iWiiBoard

Computers offer many advantages when it comes to public presentations, especially with the right applications. An excellent example is iWiiBoard. It provides various drawing and annotation tools for your screen, but what makes it different from other similar applications is the fact that you can use it with a Nintendo Wiimote. This means that you can draw on your desktop or on anything else on your screen, by pointing a Wiimote controller at the screen and making the appropriate gestures.

iWiiBoard is free to try for 30 days, without any functionality restrictions. It works on Windows XP and all later editions, including various Server platforms. Installing the application does not involve any complex configurations and it takes less than a minute to complete the process.

When launched, iWiiBoard will display a series of tools in the lower right area of the screen. You can find a pen tool, a highlighter and other drawing tools, which can be used on the screen at any time, regardless of how many opened windows you have. You can also bring up a whiteboard on the screen and draw with the same tools. While drawing, you can access a resource panel, on the left edge of the screen. The panel contains a few folders, which can be populated with images, videos, music or custom shapes.

Other tools can be used to annotate pictures, videos and Office documents, open PowerPoint presentations, manage snapshots, swap the left and right mouse buttons and more. A virtual keyboard is available as well, which can be faded or docked in the lower part of the screen. You can use the available tools with a mouse, but it is also possible to use a Nintendo Wiimote controller. The application is capable of searching for such a controller. If found, it will be connected to your computer automatically.
